This is Not Goodbye:

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Our beloved Debra Ann. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Cousin, Niece and Wife. Bebra was also a cherished friend to many. Debra left us on June 3, 2026, at the age of 64 after a most courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by love and the fond memories of family, friends old, new, near and far as she took her final journey from this life.

Debra was born January 9, 1962 in Fresno, California to Hershey Lee Miles Patrick and Robert Earl Patrick. From the very beginning her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her. She was known for her radiant smile and infectious laughter. She had a remarkable ability to lift spirits and bring light to any room. She was a joy to be around. Her generous spirit and capacity for love left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. In 1991 Debra married Parris T. Buford and had their son Christopher. She is survived by her loving son Christopher Ryan Buford and 2 grandchildren who she adored Izabella Buford and Ryan Buford.

In addition she leaves behind a host of family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, many close family members and friends who have undoubtedly welcomed her into their eternal embrace. As we remember her warmth and generosity let’s carry forth her legacy by embodying the love she so freely shared with the world.

In honor of Debra’s life and her valiant battle with cancer the family requests that in lieu of ceremony, flowers etc. a donation be made to the American Cancer Society (American Cancer Society)

Your contribution will help further the fight against this devastating illness.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who provided Love, Comfort and Support during this difficult time.

Special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice Team for the excellent comfort, care, support and guidance. We are forever grateful.
