Debra Caglia was born on November 16, 1955, and passed away on August 13, 2017. She was raised in Fresno, CA, and graduated from Fresno High School in 1974.

Debra began her 40 plus year career as a designer for Weinstocks, then for Martin's Silk and Dry Flowers. She started working with real flowers at Floral Fantasy in Madera, CA. Debra was a member of the Red Hat Society and Sierra Searchers. She was currently using her decorating talents at Vonda's Gifts.

Debra was admired for her vintage decorating skills, especially around the holidays. She threw creative parties including specialized tea parties for her nieces on their tenth birthdays. Her decorating creativity was best exhibited at family weddings.

Debra is survived by her husband, Michael Caglia Jr., whom she met after high school at a Christmas party where his piano playing mesmerized her. The music continued during their courtship and their 23 years of marriage. Their generosity to others was unmatched. She is also survived by their beloved dog Diamonds; her mother, Rosemarie Reese; her siblings, Charlene Friesen, Darlene Webber, and Ronald Reese, and their spouses; as well as many other family members and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
