Ivan was born on April 8, 1962 in the Ukraine. He passed away on June 23, 2014 in his home in Fresno, California at the age of 52.
For 13 years, Ivan was a groundskeeper for the Clovis Unified School District.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Tatyana; his sons Alexsey and his wife Krista, Roman and his wife Jessica, Vitaliy and his wife Inna and Timothy; his daughter Liliya Iest and her husband Shannon; his brother Anatoliy Kovalinskiy and his wife Paulina; his sisters Nina Bayan and Valentina Didenko; and his granchildren Joseph, Tatyana, Alexander, and Elizabeth.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the House of the Gospel. Graveside services will held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Mountain View Cemetery.
