Joel Hossick Melton was born in Fresno, California on May 6, 1959. The Lord called him home on September 7, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Paul Melton and Martha Lee Martin. He joined the Navy at 17 and was a submariner for the duration of his service. Joel is survived by his wife of 37 years Irene Melton; his children, son Robbie & his wife

Alliyson; his daughter Mysti & her husband Jeremy; and son, Joshua Melton. He also leaves five grandchildren; Madi Harrison, Quinn Harrison, Sawyer Harrison, Gabby Medina & Angie Medina. Joel will be greatly missed…
