Larry Don Hall

Larry Don Hall, 77, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, in Fresno, California. He was born on April 11, 1949, in Marysville, California, to Clara Wallace and Dillard Hall. He was one of 8 children.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved son, James Hall, his parents, Clara Wallace and Dillard Hall; his stepdaughter Amber Collison Arjil; and 6 of his siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Hall; his daughters Amber Cha and Hannah Amador; and their husbands Alex Cha and Brian Amador; eight cherished grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild expected to join the family soon; his sister Lois; and many nieces and nephews.

Nothing meant more to Larry than his family. He loved them with his whole heart, and his greatest happiness came from watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow.

Larry loved playing poker, trying his luck at the casino, and spending time with the people he loved. He could be hard-headed and stubborn, but those who knew him best also knew he had an incredibly big heart. He loved fiercely, stood by his family, and cared deeply for those closest to him.

If you ever asked Larry where he was going, his answer was almost always the same: “To see a man about a horse.” It became one of the many little things that made him uniquely Larry and is a saying his family will forever remember with a smile.

Larry will be remembered for his strength, his determination, his sense of humor, and the unconditional love he had for his family. Though he is deeply missed, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on September 12th from 1pm-4pm at 315 E Nees Ave. Fresno CA 93720 (In the Clubhouse) Family and friends are invited to attend and honor Larry’s life. For any questions call or text Laurie at 559-960-7417.
