R.T. was born on July 1, 1968, and passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his children, Brittney and Nicholas Turney; stepchildren, Nate Havie, Anthony, and Jordan; his mother, Angela DeBenedetto; sister, Debbie Coe and her husband Jason of Eden, NC; 11 grandchildren; friends, Benjamin Wilson and Kyle Schneider, and his canine best friend, Blaze.

A memorial service will be held at Peoples Church, G.L. Johnson Chapel, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
